Independent Living Skills Training
Budgeting, personal grooming, interpersonal communication, problem solving, cooking, home maintenance and other skills necessary to live independently.
Individual and Community Advocacy
Advocacy is provided to remove both attitudinal and physical barriers in the community and to foster the belief that all individuals have a right to live independently in the community of their choice. Training and assistance is provided to individuals so they may successfully advocate for their personal rights.
Peer Counseling Services
Professional support, advice and assistance in resolving personal issues specific to a disability.
Provides assistance with modifications to make home or work accessible in order to carry out daily activities.
Assistance and training is provided to individuals in locating, securing and maintaining adequate housing. Help to determine accessible housing modifications is also available by an accessibility specialist.
Assisting individuals moving from institutions back into the community,
And assisting students with disabilities transitioning from high school to adulthood.
Education, training and referral services are provided to assist the individual in obtaining their employment goal.
