3Rivers provides a unique service, linking individuals with disabilities who seek assistance in their homes, with dependable, caring workers.  Under the model of "Self-Direction", the individual or "Consumer" hires, trains and directs their worker.  The common terms used now are "Direct Service Worker" or Personal Attendant for these in-home workers.  3Rivers provides the fiscal agent services for the Consumer by managing the payroll functions including processing employment paperwork, background checks, paying taxes, unemployment and worker's compensation.
